PSYCHIATRIST POSITIONS AT MCLEAN HOSPITAL

FULL TIME AND PART TIME 

McLean Hospital, America’s top-ranked free standing psychiatric hospital, is inviting applications for Psychiatrists with roles available in inpatient (Dissociative Disorders and Trauma; Dual Diagnosis, Adolescent Inpatient, Psychotic Disorders and specialty programs (TMS/ECT/Ketamine) located in Belmont, McLean SouthEast (MSE) (satellite location in Middleborough, MA) and Arlington, MA.  These include staff psychiatrist, coverage roles and potential leadership positions. 

These positions combine clinical care and teaching of residents and fellows, with Harvard Medical School appointments. We encourage both Adult Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry trained candidates to apply.  

Salary and recruitment package in accordance with Hospital policies, and a Harvard Medical School appointment at the academic rank of Lecturer, Instructor or Assistant Professor (full or part time) will be contingent on meeting the requirements for an HMS appointment and candidate qualifications including Massachusetts medical license, and being board certified/board eligible.

Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA), a well-respected, nationally recognized and award-winning public healthcare system, is seeking full-time/part-time Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists. CHA is a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School (HMS) and Tufts University School of Medicine. Our system consists of three hospital campuses and an integrated network of both primary and specialty outpatient care practices in Cambridge, Somerville and Boston’s Metro North Region (Medford, Malden, and Everett). CHA also provides mental health services through its high school-based health centers within the Cambridge, Everett, Malden, and Somerville Public School districts. 

Available Opportunities:
o Full-time or half-time hybrid opportunities within our outpatient clinics in Malden or in Cambridge
o Half-time in-person opportunities within our high school-based health centers
Successful candidates will:
o Possess a strong commitment to and passion for working with our multicultural, underserved patient population
o Have clinical and/or academic interests in supporting or developing trauma-informed, evidence-based programs for culturally and linguistically diverse youth
o Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary staff; including psychologists, social workers, primary care providers, nurses, and administrative support
o Provide clinical supervision of Harvard-affiliated trainees
o Be board-eligible or board-certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
Clinical practice supports include:
