Employment Opportunities - Psychiatrist Hospital
FEBRUARY 2025 Listings
Lemuel Shattuck Hospital is seeking a Board and ECT-certified psychiatrist to provide ECT for DPH, DMH, and mentally ill DOC (Corrections) patients. The majority of patients in this program will receive treatment under a “Rogers” order or through proxy consent. ECT takes place in the LSH operating room suite in coordination with an ECT experienced anesthesiologist and OR team, generally at 7:30 AM on a MWF schedule, or by arrangement. Technical, administrative, and referral systems have been in place since the program’s inception in 2015. The LSH ECT program fills a gap in care for patients who are incapacitated, incarcerated, or who otherwise depend upon public institutions for care. Salary and benefits are competitive.
