Employment Opportunities: Led by Dr. David Henderson, the Psychiatry Department is seeking skilled, passionate, mission driven Psychiatrists. This is an opportunity to become a member of a growing academic department with a range of clinical opportunities and potential for research/educational contributions.

  • Outpatient Adult, Child/Adolescent, & Addiction Psychiatrists: We are seeking psychiatrists to provide acute and longitudinal outpatient services in a new clinical space opening 2024, adjacent to pediatrics, general and family medicine. 
  • MEDICAL DIRECTOR, BMC Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC): We are seeking an Adult or Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist to provide medical leadership for the BMC CBHC, one of 25 sites across the commonwealth, providing mobile crisis intervention, community crisis stabilization and walk in outpatient services for adults and children. This is a unique opportunity to participate in the statewide effort to innovate access to behavioral health care.
  • Inpatient Psychiatry: This is an opportunity to join a brand new (Winter 2023) inpatient behavioral health facility in Brockton, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional care to patients. Teaching opportunities will be available and physicians are eligible for BUSM appointments.

Compensation: Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine offers a competitive salary commensurate with academic training and practice experience as well as eligibility for Faculty appointment at BUSM, tuition discount for provider and family at BU and other excellent benefits.

Interested in flexible, competitive pay rates, and a schedule that fits your needs?

Qualified psychiatrists, residents, and psychiatric nurse practitioners wanted to provide overnight, weekend, and holiday moonlighting coverage at a Boston area psychiatric facility. Shifts can vary from weekly to monthly based on your desire and availability. Shifts are scheduled typically 3 or more month in advance to accommodate work and life demands. Total compensations ranges between 900-2300, with additional pay per admission.
